She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Wayne Allen and Katherine Allen; and her brother David. She is survived by : her husband David Uhl; her daughter Caroline Fraska (Mike); her granddaughter Charlotte Fraska of Tampa, FL; her child Chase Uhl (Alyna) of Jupiter, FL; her sisters, Becky Allen of Centennial, CO, Melanie Allen of Norwalk, CT and Mary Lyn; and her brother-in-law Richard Ballantine of Durango, CO.

Though Barbara loved fresh flowers she requests in lieu of flowers to consider a donation to the Florida Chapter of the Sari Center for Integrative Core, (Sari Center, Integrative Cancer Care saricenter.org), or the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County (literacypbc.org).
