She was predeceased by : her husband David Sims; her parents, Hinkle Thomas and Estelle Thomas; and her sister Janice Van Humbeeck. She is survived by : her children, Thomas Sims (Patricia), Gregory Sims (Janet) and Susan Sims; her grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Eric, Robert and Teddy; and her pet Daisy Mae. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
