He was predeceased by: his former wife Mona; his parents, Marie Wingert and Louis Spano, Sr.; and his brother Jamie. He is survived by: his wife Melody; his children, Lisa Magee (Hugh), Richard Spano, Jr. (Jyll) and Jeffrey Spano; and his siblings, Marie Lieb, Louis Spano, Jr. (Carol), Robert Spano (Florence) and Thomas Spano (Becky). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
