He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Fanjul, Sr. and Lillian Gómez Mena. He is survived by: his family Cuban; his wife Raysa; his daughters, Crista Ryan (Allan) and Lillian Fernandez (Luis); his stepdaughter Raissa Enis (Edward); his siblings, Lian Fanjul, Jose "Pepe" Fanjul, Alexander Fanjul and Andres Fanjul; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Cy, Luis, Alfy and Mimi. He is also survived by seven greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Charities, Mission International Rescue (MIR), Bascom Palmer, or the Cleveland Clinic, whose doctors and nurses took wonderful care of Alfy.
