He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Poorman and Grayce Poorman; his wife Mabel Poorman; his son Gregory Scott Poorman; and his brothers, Lynn and John Poorman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Arlene Emrick (Ron) of Fort Wayne, IN and Kathryn Picano. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave. Chicago, IL 60707.
