It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Granger Ernest Sutton (Palm City, Florida), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Sutton (Kes) and George Sutton; and his sister Josie Springs. He is survived by: his sibling Tess Watts; his wife Marcene; his daughter Tonya Sutton of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Robyn Sutton-Fernández (Diana) of Atlanta, GA and Ronnie L. Sutton of Long Beach, NY; his sons, Craig Portee (Tina Antonello) of Babylon, NY, Wayne Portee (Shawna) of Port St and Rodney Cole (Renee Cole) of Long Beach, NY; his grandchildren, Rondaye, Marke, Teicoria, Terrell, Teineshia, Chris, Alyssa, Shyla, Romelo, Alana and Giana; his siblings, Vernon Sutton of Norfolk, VA, Valerie Gilbert (Harold) of Gordon Banks, VA, Godfrey Banks and Linda Lewis; his nephew Lawrence Springs of Maryland; his parents-in-law, Cynthia Ward (Everton) of Port St, Margaretta Goodridge (Sydney) of New York, Gloria Weeks (Tony) of Barbados, Wendy Burke of Barbados and Samuel Evelyn (Gloria); Joseph and Deb Mastrolillo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
