She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Almeida; her son-in-law David Hamilton of Newark, OH; and her sisters, Elizabeth (Edward Almeida) and Irene (Carlos Reed). She is survived by: her sibling Amadeu; her children, Antonio Almeida (Elaine), Rosemarie Hiers (Herb) and Suzette Hamilton; and her grandchildren, Antonio Almeida, Christopher Almeida, Curtis Hiers, Danielle Fallone and Jennifer Mann. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the August F. Schmidt Funeral Home (139 Westfield Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07208). A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (403 Spring St, Elizabeth, NJ 07201). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery.
