He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Costello and Celia Costello; and his wife Jean. He is survived by: his siblings, Evelyn, Nicholas and Anthony; his children, Edward (Susan), Stephen (Nicholas) and Natalie (Edmond); and his grandchildren, Kristyn (Justin), Alyssa (Cory), Daniel (Christine) and Edward.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the James Funeral Home (540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Saint Rose of Lima R. C. Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758).
