He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis LaCourt and Gertrude LaCourt. He is survived by: his wife Karen M. LaCourt; his children, Geri Grinstead (Steve), Denise Nicholson (Mark) and Jay Ellis LaCourt (Cheryl); his sister Gail G. Lentz; and his grandchildren, Tanya Whidby (David), Jamie LaCourt (Allison), Jessica Hawley (James), Randi Johnston (Matt), Jennafer LaCourt, Katelin LaCourt and Andrew Grinstead. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life Coast Family Center (4601 E Moody Blvd, Bunnell, FL 32110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
