She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Ashman and Alice Ashman (Loomis); her siblings, William Ashman, Ruth La Montagne and Frederic Ashman (Marge); her son Wayne Thody of Connecticut; her nephew Kenneth Ashman; and her niece Carolyn Ashman Blankenship.
She is survived by: her husband James Lyman Sr.; her children, Sherry Riley (Mike) of Cove, Valerie Mathews (Roger) of Fort Myers, Florida and Steven Thody Sr. of Durham, Connecticut; her sister Isabelle Epps of Vero Beach, Florida.; her grandchildren, Michael Bittick (Sarah), Kristal Ullman, Keith Thody, April Thody Betters, Steven Thody Jr. (Anna), Nicole Fowler (Adam), Michelle Rouse (Steven) and Christopher Mathews; her great grandchildren, Gaven, Kasen, Korbin, Kameron, Starra, Skylie, Bailey, Jason, Addison, Kinsley, Reagan, Brenden, Kyleigh and Summer; her great great grandchild Harlyn; and her stepsons, James Lyman Jr., William Lyman and Jeffery Lyman. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
