He was predeceased by: his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Dale (Carrozza); his daughters, Brandy (Thomas) and Jamie (JR); his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Gia, Drew and Gianni; his stepgranddaughters, Kylie and Kailee; and his brother Philip.

Before retiring to Florida, he was the Senior Vice Commander of his local DAV Chapter 137 helping to bring holiday cheer to veterans at the local New York Veterans Hospital, donating time at several fund-raising events and selling raffle tickets to help support the local veterans.
