She was predeceased by: her parents, Augusto Silva and Inez Silva; and her husband Manuel Tavares. She is survived by: her daughters, Ilidia Velado (Paulo) and Denise Petraglia (Stephen); her grandchildren, Elizete Velado, Paul Velado, Stephanie Maddolin (Joseph) and Nicholas Petraglia (Joann Flaherty); and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Maddolin.
