We announce the death of Jerry Culbreth Knight of Palm Coast, Florida, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 82. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Knight and James Knight; his son Erik Knight; and his siblings, Jimmy Knight and Judith Gaston.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Smith Knight; his children, Jeffrey Knight, Clayton Knight and Kathryn Reiter; and his siblings, Pamela Summerford, Rodney Knight and Joe Knight. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast (6050 Palm Coast Pkwy NW, Palm Coast, FL 32137). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ashford City Cemetery (823 6th Ave, Ashford, AL 36312).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Open Door Recovery Ministry in Jerry's memory.
