She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schnepf and Sarah Schnepf; and her husband Norman Young. She is survived by: her children, Susan Pickrodt (Tom), John Young (Louise) and Karen Bergin (Gene); her grandchildren, Nicole Triolo (Joe), Ryan Young (Angela), Jack Young, Katherine Young, Christina Udell (Tim) and Michelle Udell (Corey); and her brother Raphael Schnepf (Margaret). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 3 nephews and their spouses with many more loving relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children—two causes close to her heart.
