She was predeceased by: her parents, Barton Niles and Catalina Niles (Greenidge); and her husband Sidney Thorpe. She is survived by: her sons, Emilio Thorpe and David Thorpe; her daughter-in-law Dionne Thorpe; and her siblings, Roberto Niles (Eledia Niles) and Felicia Niles. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
