He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Barringer (Bedgood); his children, Richard Barringer Jr. of Summerfield, FL, Douglas Barringer of Lady Lake, FL, Dennis Barringer of Lady Lake, FL and Debbie Greenspan of Lafayette, NY; his stepchildren, Raymond Baker of Cleveland, GA and Marian Comer (Tom) of Palm Coast, FL; and his sister Karen Small of Deltona, FL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
