She was predeceased by: her parents, Enquire Mirles and Juanita Macias Mirles. She is survived by: her husband Jose M. Lopez; her children, Sandra Forgash (Hal) of Palm Coast, Selina Lopez of Palm Coast, Jose M. Lopez Jr. (Cheryl) of Plain City, OH and Jesus Contreras (Esther) of Chandler, AZ; and her siblings, Beatrice LaBarre of El Paso, TX, Teresa Rodriguez of El Paso, TX, Maria Hernandez of El Paso, TX, Enquire Mirles of Fresno, CA and Alberto Mirles of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
