He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Caldwell and Fay Caldwell; his aunt Lugussie Dean; his siblings, James, Edward, Arthur, Theodis Caldwell and Ruby Caldwell; his siblings' children, Lori Gardner and Rodney Caldwell; and his great-nephew Jesse Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Caldwell (Daniels); his children, Eric Caldwell (Constance), Monica Caldwell-Winter (Guido), Kimberly Caldwell and Shawn Caldwell; his grandchildren, Stanley, Monique, Johnathon, Jasmin, Jonte', Amber, Lexis, Jenal, Dorren, Dorianna and Harlem; his siblings, Earlean Caldwell, Elizabeth Carter (Victor), Viola McCoy, Waunetta Caldwell, Charles Caldwell (Elzonia) of Springfield, MA and Thomas Caldwell (Sherry) of Springfield, MA; and his cousin Betty Mayweathers (Springfield). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
