He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Lou and Virgil Bauer (Heather). He is survived by: his son Alex Bauer; and his siblings, Ellen Simpson and Gene Bauer.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (1690 Denmark Rd, Highland, KS 66035).
