He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruth Chase (Vars) and George Chase; and his siblings, Stanley Chase, Louise Wilcox (Chase) and George Chase.

He is survived by : his wife Lucille Chase; his stepson Dr. John Yanusas (Joyce); his daughter Dr. Jennifer Fielding (Randy Fielding); his stepgrandchild Elyse Yanusas; and his grandchildren, Ryder Fielding and Conner Fielding.
