She was predeceased by: her parents, Naomi Friedman and Irving Friedman; her husband Leonard Simon; and her sister Lynne Trujillo. She is survived by: her daughters, Rona Dauman (David), Bonnie Lalli (Phil) and Dara Simon; her siblings, Douglas Friedman (Bonnie) and Joanne Berman; and her grandchildren, Jacob Dauman and Lauren Dauman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gail's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or The LAM Foundation, causes close to her heart.
