George Pappas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 80, George Pappas (Palm Harbor, Florida) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Pappas to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Demetria Pappas; his son Mario Pappas; his grandchildren, Demitra and Vasilios William Pappas; and his friend Evi Stanev.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Greek Orthodox Church (1010 Riviere Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of George Pappas to Sts. Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Greek Ortho Church Building Preservation Fund.
