She is survived by: her husband Tilemachos "Telly" Komninos; her son Spiro T. Komninos; her daughter-in-law Theodora C. Komninos; her son Athanasios "Tom" Komninos (Gina Rosato); and her granddaughters, Avyi Ireni Komninos, Eirini Christina Komninos and Anitra Komninos. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Greek Orthodox Church (1010 Riviere Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens (1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to causes supporting Alzheimer's research or the Tampa Bay Area Greek Orthodox community, in loving memory of our Rena.
