It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita DeCola of Palm Harbor, Florida, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita DeCola to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Govert and Magdalena Govert; her husband Chester DeCola; her siblings, Charles Govert, Lawrence Govert, Florence Helmer, Henrietta Van, Heyden, Gertrude Smith, Mary Williams, Cecilia Herrman and Rose Parks; and her grandson John Paul DeCola.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald DeCola (Mary), Patricia Harr Fox (Bill Harr), James DeCola (Lauren) and Karen (George Hatzikostantis); her grandchildren, Michael, Thomas DeCola, Andrew Fox (Marissa), James Fox (Megan), Emily, John DeCola, Kaley and Jonathon Kostantis; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Jack, Hunter, Austin and Charlotte Fox.
