William Claude Keating Obituary

We announce the death of William Claude Keating of Palm Harbor, Florida, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 90. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elin Rolfe Keating and Donald Jeremiah Keating; his brother Robert Keating; and his children, Tammy Montesano and Billy Keating.

He is survived by: his daughter Lori Mendelsohn; his grandchildren, Alyssa Pereira, Alexis Pereira, Taylor Mendelsohn and Camron Mendelsohn; and his brothers, Donald Keating and Richard Keating (Laura Keating). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home (2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (1507 Trotter Rd, Largo, FL 33770). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park (2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home (2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759).
