With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Ray (Palm Harbor, Florida), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frank Ray and Sarah Virginia Ray (Knight). He is survived by: his wife Carol Kay Ray (Surrency); his children, William David Ray and Julie Kristen Spencer; his son-in-law Chad Wesley Spencer; his grandson Blake Wesley Spencer; his sister Virginia Gantt (Charles Gantt); and his nephews, Nathan and Jeremy Gantt.
