He was predeceased by : his parents, Olin Truitt and Edith Truitt (Townsend); his daughter Melanie Carey; and his nephew Scott Benge. He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Truitt (Kilpatrick); his children, Ron Helm and Brandi Urban; and his grandchildren, Lillian, Katie, Cullen, Emily, Ava, Kyley and Makiyah.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Skyway Memorial Gardens (5200 US-19, Palmetto, FL 34221).
