He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hernandez; his children, Frank Jose Avalos IV of Bradenton, Erika Marie Avalos (Lionardo Garcia) of Palmetto, FL and Gloria Garcia of Bradenton, FL; his siblings, Andy Avalos, Joe Avalos, Aaron Avalos, Aurora Santiago, Anita Yanez and Norma Avalos; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Frankie, Jazmine, Anthony, Jaline, Adriana, Josue, Leonnah and Francisco; and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Elyannah.
