It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jasper Cecil Miller of Palmetto, Florida, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shedrick Miller and Annie Mae Lincoln Miller; his siblings, Eartha Felder, Jacob Miller, John Miller, Franklin Miller, Helen Gilyard, Maggie Edwards and Willa Dean Ross; his daughter Brenda Miller; and his former wife Geneva Miller.
He is survived by: his former wife Geneva Gissentaner; his wife Darlene Thomas Miller; his sister Shirley Haynes (Carl); his siblings-in-law, Melissa Williams, Patsy Crawley, George Thomas (Sandra), Eric Thomas (Cheryl), Thomas Thomas (Kyung Ae) and Gregory Thomas Sr.; his children, Eulalia Miller, Janet Griffin, Jasper Miller Jr. (Reneè), Eric of Washington, Cecil Miller (Jami), Joyce Miller Oates (Derrick) and Kevin Thomas (Megan); his grandchildren, Brittany Simmons, Tony Griffin II, Devan McDuffie, Eriq Porter, Cameron of Washington, Aabrianna Oates, Xavier Porter, Derrick Oates Jr., Brennan of Washington, Madison Thomas, Nigel Miller, Khloe of Washington and Noah Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah McDuffie, Aalani McDuffie and Kalanie Porter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
