He is survived by: his children, David, Wendy Godwin, Cassandra, Mike Ewing, Jason and Kelly Godwin; his siblings, Joe Godwin of Bradenton, Birdie Roberts of Palmetto, Peggy Porter of Palmetto and Mary Truluck of Bradenton; his grandchildren, James, Dara, Zach Godwin, Jakob Stinchcomb, Erica Ayscue, Andrew, Daniela, Johnathan and Stephanie Ewing; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Aubrey, Christian Ayscue Melanie, Michael, Annaleah Ewing, David and Tegan Harrison.
