He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wright Smith; his daughters, Sharon Frankenberger (Anthoney), Belton, Mary Bayes (Jeffrey) and St Augustine; and his siblings, Lois Caudill, Marion Thacker Jr. and Lewis Thacker of Forest, Ohio.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
