It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gaughan of Palmetto, Florida, who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Mark Anthony Gaughan Jr.; and his brother Robert Francis Gaughan. He is survived by: his mother Mary Frances Gaughan (Boyce) of Bridgeport, WV; his stepson Joseph Shaffer of Sebring, OH; his friend Cheri Katarzynski of Sebring, OH; his siblings, Mark Anthony Gaughan III of Chesapeake, VA, Richard William Gaughan of Virginia Beach, VA, Patrick Lee Gaughan of Pittsburgh, PA and Maria Lynne Whisner (Gaughan) of Mt. Clare, WV; and his friend Jim McKisic of Clarksburg, WV..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home (329 E Main St, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
