It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Barley of Palmetto, Florida, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Norman had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Norman may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Barley and Elizabeth Barley; his niece Linda Stephenson; and his brother John Barley. He is survived by: his sister Betty Koby of Bradenton; his nieces, Mary Hansen, Julie Woolary, Betty Romeo and Louise Amato; and his uncle Don. He is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews.
