He was predeceased by: his parents, Harwell Tyson and Dorothy Tyson (Muir); and his brothers, Ronald, Robert and Randall.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Nancy Burdick (Jim) of Valparaiso, IN, Steven Tyson (Kristin) of Harmony, PA, Lisa Moody of Arrington, TN and Jennifer Lee (Tim) of Plymouth, IN; and his brother Raymond Tyson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
