He is survived by: his children, Nathan Wharton (Albany Georgia) and Robin Wharton (Frankfurt Germany); and his siblings, Steve Wharton (Cathy), Dave Wharton (Betty), Ann Wharton Wright (Pat), Syndi Wharton (David Gray) and John Wharton (Allison).
