He was predeceased by: his stepfather Frank Wood; his siblings, Steve Wood and Jamie Wood; and his uncle Marion Cumming. He is survived by: his sons, Cody Hampton and Wyatt Hampton; his parents, Gail Wood and David Hampton (Nancy); his brother Kevin Hampton (Stacy); his stepbrothers, Shane Floyd and Blake Floyd; his fiancée Tammy Ward; his sisters-in-law, Angela Wood and Kim Hampton Kennedy; his nephews, Michael Hampton and Chandler Hampton; and his niece Kylie Hampton. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Canton First Baptist Church (1 Mission Point, Canton, GA 30114). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
