It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Franklin Johnson (Panama City Beach, Florida), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth and Thelma; his sister Virginia; and his son-in-law Ronnie Swindle. He is survived by : his significant other Mary Louise; his children, Penny Swindle, Melody Botts (Richard) and Keith Johnson; his grandchildren, Joey Johnson (Alainna), Brent Swindle, Weston Swindle (Taz) and Sarah Botts; his great grandchildren, Riley Johnson, Mable Swindle, Magnolia Swindle and Ansley Johnson; and his brother Kenneth Johnson, Jr. (Betty).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations are made to Animal Haven Rescue of Bay County, FL.
