He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Mathis; his brother Paul Mathis; his aunt Bonnie Combes; and his grandparents, Billy and Virginia Anderson.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Mathis; his sons, Walker (Hannah), William (Lena) and Joe (Mike); and his wife Michele.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Destiny Worship Center (13300 Panama City Beach Pkwy, Panama City Beach, FL 32407).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mike's memory to help others receive travel assistance.
