She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice and Arthur Dewitt Newsome; her husband James "Jim" J. Hatcher; and her son Gary Lynn Hatcher. She is survived by: her sons, James Hatcher (Rebecca), Paul Hatcher and Dennis Hatcher (Rhonda); her stepdaughter Patricia Smith; her grandchildren, Jefferson Hatcher (Lissa), Michael Hatcher, Amberlee Hatcher, Nichole Weatherly (Stephen), Jeremy Hatcher (Cathryn), Timothy Smith, Ronnie Smith and Thomas Smith; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Ethan, Annah Karis, Jasmine, Tyler, Jackie, Kasen, Kaitlyn and Kannan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (214 Airport Rd, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 6200 US-431, Headland, AL 36345.
