He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Perry Atkinson and Patsy Touchton Atkinson; and his daughter Baby Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Leigh Anne Atkinson; and his children, Luke Atkinson and Taylor Atkinson of Los Angeles, California. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece.
