He is survived by: his son Nathan R. Kompus (Colleen); his sister Frances "Fran" Allacher (Dennis) of McCook, Nebraska; his siblings-in-law, Doug Horinek (Deanna), David "Weiner" Horinek (Rose) and Diane Kugler (Mike); and his close friends, Greg and Tom.
