He is survived by: his wife Norma Roper; his children, Debbie Koehn (Tony), Pamela Boobyer (Bobby) and Joe Roper (Erin); his grandchildren, Greyson Vetter (Rachel), Mark Douglas (Hollind), Kellye Dolf (Brent), Pat Douglas (Sarah), Jenny McWilliams (Elise), Owen Vetter (Morgan), Chris Boobyer (Danielle), Cole Barfield (Becca) and Courtney Ricks (Hayden); and his great grandchildren, Holly, Gabriel, Harper, Olivia, Owen, Oliver, Rowan, Kit, Edison, Landry, Miles, Carver, Collier, Waylon, Blake and Bransen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Vitas Hospice.
