It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Hamel of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann Hamel to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anthony Totaro and Marie Totaro; her husband Robert D. Hamel; and her children, Robert T. Hamel (Shari), Mark Hamel (Julee), Patti McKinney (John), Linda Marti (Chris), Michelle Walker (David) and Laura Miller, Sr. (John). She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On Friday, May 14, a funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with burial to follow at the Catholic Cemetery on Frankford Ave. Flowers are welcome, or you may make a donation to the St. John Catholic Academy.
