He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Curry Pierce; and his parents, Owen Pierce and Margurett Johnson Pierce. He is survived by: his children, Katrina Jeanea Houpt, Dana Dean Pierce, Theresa Griffin (David) and Kriss Garrett; and his grandchildren, Melanie Martin, McKenzie Anderson, Shane Griffin, Shelby Griffin, Thomas (TJ), Garrett (Cara) and Courtney Garrett (Dustin Marsden).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
