He is survived by: his wife Helen Armstrong; his children, Allen Armstrong (Gina) and Brandi Tindel (Rob); his granddaughters, Emily Armstrong, Elise Armstrong and Mallory Tindel; and his sisters, Betty Sue Hanlon (Gene) and Sarah Byrd (Gerald). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
