He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Gertrude Sailors Kearns; his former wife Ellen Henley Kearns; his daughter Doris Ann; his wife Edna Kearns; his sister Jean Sanders; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Richard Strickland; his son Billy Kearns Jr.; his brother Richard Kearns; his grandchildren, Sara (David Adkins), Natalie (Christopher Canavan) and Trevor (Christine Strickland); and his great grandchildren, Rhianna, Carson, Taylor, Henley, Austin and Emersyn.
