It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chalmos Russel Earnest of Panama City, Florida, born in Donalsonville, Georgia, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Earnest and Collie Mae Earnest; his brothers, Sidney Earnest and Gans Earnest; and his wife Charlene.

He is survived by: his son Russ Earnest; his stepdaughters, Aleesha Palombo (Frank) and Sonya Smith; his granddaughter Sabra Smith; his sister Frances Gilbert; and his sister-in-law Maudie Earnest. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
