He is survived by: his wife Kerry K. Kratson-Melvin; his daughter Stephanie Melvin-Taylor; his stepson William Robert Kolmetz; his siblings, Connie Melvin-Culver (Ronald) and John Cary Melvin (Teresa); and his granddaughter Kimberly Shyanne Webb. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
