He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Emma Smith; and his brother James Smith. He is survived by: his wife Frances P. Smith; his children, Steve Smith (Stacy), Bobby Smith and Carolyn Smith Andrews; and his sister Dorothy Lumley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
