She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Dykes and Opal Dykes; and her sister Pamela Rutherford. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Owens; her children, Samuel Owens (Emily), Misty Owens (Chasidy) and Caroline Clark (Greg); her grandchildren, Winnie-Jo, Penelope, Henry, Leelyn and Leah; and her siblings, Dennis, Teresa, Belinda, Michelle and Tina.
